Abstract

This community service is carried out offline. Sex education is knowledge about everything related to gender. The purpose of this community service was to build the awareness of reproductive health, improve knowledge about free sex, and provide information about free sex to decrease the incidence of sexually transmitted diseases among teenagers.

The method used in this service was a literal approach, namely an action plan that consisted of a set of steps to solve a problem or achieve a goal, then as a mental procedure in the form of an order of steps that uses the realm of creativity to achieve certain goals.

The result after this community service was carried out, using the discussion, question and answer method with power point media, flipcharts and brochures for 62 students of SMP N Grogol, showed that 59% of students were having high understanding about sex education in adolescents, 23% said they understood, 10% said they understood enough and 8% said they didn't understand. Sex education for teenagers is very important. The output of this community service helps parents to open their mind about the ‘taboo’ of sex education given to teenagers.
